Welcome back gang! This one feels very spring-in-Napa.

Kids out and about, little weekend pop-ins, and Sunday morning treats.

Here are a few things that caught my eye for this weekend’s gameplan.

Sometimes Napa Write Its Own Jokes

This came across my radar and I just had to share it because it feels like a great reminder that we do have to laugh at ourselves a little.

Because yes - of course Napa has an Avocado Toast Brunch Experience.

CIA at Copia is doing this big, over-the-top avocado toast situation at The Grove, complete with levain bread, smoked fish, soft boiled eggs, feta, herbs, pickled onions, hazelnuts, and a bottle of sparkling rosé or blanc de blancs for the table.

Extremely new wave Napa. Consumerist Napa. The kind of thing people probably imagine when they think of this place from the outside.

No shame at all if you want to go - honestly, I would absolutely get down with all of that. I mostly just wanted to share because it made me laugh - literally the 2019 stereotype of avocado toast..and because from what I saw, most of the time slots were basically sold out anyway.

But on to the actual gameplan I had for you all…

Bunny Hop at Bel Aire Plaza

If you ever go over by North Bargain or BodyRok, every once in a while they have quite the scene going on…

  • giant bounce house

  • huge party tent

  • staff grilling burgers

It kind of feels like a surprise birthday party that was thrown for you while you are out running errands.

I think this event is going to be a really similar vibe…but I guess this time around it’s Easter stuff:

Easter Bunny photos, egg hunt around the plaza, face painter, balloon artist, giveaways, and event-day offers.

This is the perfect kind of 1-2 hour thing where your kids feel like they did something special, and it’s actually just a pit stop in between errands.

Event details:

  • When: Saturday, March 28, 2026, 11am-2pm

  • Where: Bel Aire Plaza (meet by Athleta)

One more free kid thing that is actually good

If you are not checking the library calendar, you are missing out.

But don’t worry I have your back - but know that they have way more than I’m talking about in the weekend gameplans. For this week, I just wanted to include another kid friendly event.

MusicTime in the Library with Festival Napa Valley is happening at the Napa Library on Saturday, March 28 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM, and it’s meant for kids ages 2 to 8 and their adults.

They describe it as a fun, interactive concert where kids can explore instruments, dance around, and cheer along while musicians use live music to tell stories and play through different themes.

A sweet little one if you want something low-lift, free, and easy downtown.

Sunday Morning Delights

This is very good news for the doughnut people.

If you did not know, Johnny Doughnuts is coming to Oxbow. They’re known for handmade doughnuts inspired by old-school recipes.

They’re doing a pop-up on Sunday, March 29 from 8:00 AM until sold out while construction gets going on their future space inside the market.

A good one to know about if you want an easy Sunday morning stop - and probably one to get to earlier rather than later.

Alright, that’s it for this week - have a great weekend, don’t take yourself too seriously and as always, send me anything fun if I missed it!

Callie
