Hope you all survived the heat.
Napa definitely feels like it’s in full spring swing right now - my allergies are going crazy, spring sports are everywhere, and just that general feeling of commotion every time you go out.
So hopefully this weekend can be a nice excuse to take your mind off all of it - even if just for a little bit.
Here’s the game plan for a few ways to not get too caught up in everything this weekend.
Student Artists and Live Music
This is a real nice, sweet, community-driven one.
The American Canyon High School Arts & Music Fest is celebrating their student talent this Saturday, March 21 starting at noon at RD Winery.
It’s a great chance to support local student artists in a setting that feels a little more fun than your standard school event. From the flyer and event page, it sounds like it ranges from artwork and spoken word to musical acts.
Also not a bad spot if you want a little mustard-season scenery while you’re at it.

Could be a really nice one if you want something local, easy, and feel-good this weekend.
Chaos At The Garden
Huge thank you to Jukebox Karaoke for sliding into my DMs and putting this on my radar.
These guys look like an awesome duo running a very cool event, and they’re going to be at The Garden on Friday night, which a nice, accessible spot and usually pretty popping.
So if you’re downtown, you should definitely consider stopping by - whether you want to sing or just watch other people fully send it.
Details:
Friday, March 20
8:00 - 11:00 PM
The Garden, 1500 1st Street, Napa

Weekend run recap
Always appreciate the Open Studios crew for consistently putting on really solid, affordable - and usually free - community events.
This one looks like a nice, easy Saturday stop if you want to browse around and see what local artists, makers, and creatives are up to. Sounds like a pretty wide mix too - paintings, glass art, silk items, earrings, notecards, gifts, and more.
Details
Saturday, March 21
11:00 AM - 4:00 PM
100 Coombs Street, Napa - their main studio building right by the pedestrian bridge

Huge thanks again to Jukebox for reaching out.
I’ve had a few people send things over lately, and I’m always happy to share cool local stuff when I can.
So if you’ve got something going on, feel free to send it my way - especially if you can include a few details so I’m not out here playing detective.
Have a great weekend - stay cool.
Callie
